No meat in my chili

I bought a can of chili thinking I would have meat and chili over my rice not the case I had rice with chili gravy. I will buy Hormel from now own.

I will also warn my friends.

Why can't you put meat in it if now please call it chili juice. Customer fraud again Rita Fillmore

I agree. It's Hormel from now on.

Wolf Brand's newest "Angus" offering in the black can turned out to be no better than thick sauce with pepper and ground meat lumps. RIP Wolf Brand.

They once had great chili, mo more.

Just opened 3 different cans today to have chili on my hot dogs and it was runny like water with very little meat. I have eaten Wolf Brand Chili for years and before they had it in Florida I would order a case directly from the company.

Last month I had the same situation thinking may it's just a bad batch they sent Dollar General then I bought some at Publix and it was also runny. I'm originally from Texas and have bragged for years about the chili but no more.

What Happened to my beloved chili???

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Opened a can today...more like soup than chili...tasteless compared to the original chili which was very thick and had chunks of meat. Another product ruined by the profit mongers at ConAgra! The original chili, made in Corsicana, Texas, was lovely and the only chili that my mom would serve.

I have eaten much chili in my 75 years on earth, and this stuff is horrible.

Too thin, no spices, virtually weak and tasteless. Very poor quality product.

bad, bad, bad , bad, bad, tasteless, weak, weak, weak, no spices evident, thin, thin, thin, ruined original recipe, and the company is lying about maintaining the original recipe. Probably too costly for this giant company to make an unreasonable profit on. How on earth did this gunk get past quality control or is that a thing of the past. There, 100 words....

Just read other reviews. They must be screwing up QC all over the place. Somebody's video gaming, youtube contributor wanna be nephew, must have needed a job.

Got 2 cans about same time as you, Walmart in PA. Same as always and the same quality of chili you are used to enjoy.

I will buy again.

Somebody screwed up your batch. Maybe more failures in your area.

If you really like chili, make it yourself at home. It's really easy to make and you can add whatever ingredients you want.

You can even make it in a crock pot for an easy method. As for Wolf chili, I tried it a few years ago and found it just "ok." It is still, bottom-line just a canned product, like soups.

Never the same as homemade. If the Wold chili---or most other products---is suddenly different, then you can safely assume the manufacturer is attempting to save production costs by changing the formula somehow in order to save money.

So hot burned my throat and asked wife did she put in more chile dry power trying to make it stronger. She said no. I am 77 years old and never tasted anything like this, been around the world in 1963 and lived in Mexico in the winter for 25 years, I love hot Mexican food but not chile I guess. Just want my 2 cents in and looking at your 1.8 rate I see I am not the only one with a complaint. I dont know what all this issue is and not needing attornys just to say something is wrong with the chili, way to strong with no warning on label, Never again, just forget it.

Ate Wolf Brand Hot Dog Sauce , Texas Style. When I opened the can, I noticed the sauce was thick, pasty, had to add lots of water. It did not taste as other WB chile tasted. After putting it on my hot dogs and eating it, 10 hrs later I had severe cramps and watery diarrhea. I'm still sick. Had been completely fine prior to eating it.

Food poisoning

I ate a half can wolf chili which was 3 years old and 1 hour later I developed food poisoning! I first threw up, shot right out of my mouth and then diarrhea for 6 ours!

It came out red like blood and I thought I had colon cancer! Te stools stayed red for 1 day! I also felt like I was going to pass out also! I think it was food poisoning!

The cans looked normal, no bulges or bends! Do you think it was? I checked the symptoms on the computer and I had every symptom and I had everyone of them!

I have never had food poisoning in my life so it was quite shocked when it happened! Hopefully it doesn't happen again, the cramps were very severe!

Watery chili

We purchased a can of wolf brand chili (no beans)

to use on our hot dogs. There was not hardly any

meat in the chili and it was very runny. It was so thin

I could have drank it with a straw. Over the years we

have always purchased wolf brand chili and it was

never like this. I suggest some one there in your

organization to check out this chili. We will not be

purchasing it in the future. In the past we have always been very well satisified with anything with

wolf brand written on it. I can't understand why

you folks would let a product like this be put out there for sale with your name on it.

Wood found in chili

Wolf Brand Chili - Wood found in chili
Wolf Brand Chili - Wood found in chili - Image 2
I'm trying to reach someone in regards to a can of chili I bought yesterday 06-02-18. I bought two cans of wolf brand chili with beans for my local HEB and upon eating dinner last night with my two younger children and my sister. My sister discovered wood in the chili as she was chewing it. This is very unacceptable harmful and dangerous! I still have proof of the wood. I still have the wood.I will be contacting the corporate office first thing in the morning.

Improved

I recently purchased a can of Wolf Brand Chili, no beans. I must say it was quite an improvement. The last few cans I had purchased were just like water. Pleased that your company addressed my previous complaints and improved the chili. I had thought that I would have to go to another brand but now it is not necessary. Pleased continue to monitor your chili to insure it does not go back to being like water. I usually purchase this product at a military commissary. However, I do not understand your concept that a compliment has to be at least one hundred words. I would assume you would like to hear all compliments regardless of the length of the compliments. Thank you.

Never buying this brand again.

I am boycotting Con-Agra since they own Wolf brand chili. I bought 6 cans of chili (no beans) to make chili dogs for our 4 children, nieces, nephews and a few neighborhood children.

I buy this all the time for my kids whenever they want chili dogs and I usually have no problems with it. This time however, all 6 cans were nothing but dark colored water. I mean WATER. Rendering every last can I opened useless.

I kept opening cans and hoping at least SOME of them were alright since I had a small army of children to feed and they wanted chili dogs. I called Wolf and sent them a video. Their way of dealing with it? Send me $1.00 off coupons (covered about HALF the cost of one can), that I can use ONE at a time, with a close expiration date.

Their customer service is horrible and apparently the quality control isn't that great either. I guess I will be purchasing Hormel.

Cans won't open right

When using a can opener there are two spots on the lid that the opener jumps over and makes it very difficult to get the chili out of the can. This happens on every can.

It makes it very dangerous to get the chili out of the can, I'm afraid i am going to cut myself severely. The 2 spots are almost 180 degrees opposite from each other.

I have to stick a knife in the can lid and pry it open causing chili to go everywhere and potentially cutting my hand or fingers. go ogo oof tod od od a a app a a a fdls ;dod aadd addodmm lifm pne dien

Just purchased two cans of Wolf brand chili no beans. ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT OPEN with can opener.

I have severe osteoarthritis and can not use a traditional manual can opener. Trash?
