Wolf Brand Chili - What happened???
At age 65 I grew up with Wolf Brand Chili factory less than 1/4 mile from my home. It has ALWAYS been my go to brand-consistently thick and hearty.
Yesterday while traveling out of state, I purchased two cans of Wolf lean-no beans at Walmart in Clinton, Ark. Tonight at hunting camp cabs were opened an to my surprise it was runny, thin with no recognizable flavor!! Really!! Even the dogs turned up their noses!
This is a disgrace. Attached is pic of cans.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

My family has loved Wolf Brand chili no beans for years, just bought some itโs nothing like it use to be, no meat Judi like very thick gravy!
Same here! Runny and had a different taste. Awful!
This stuff is crap!!! Never buy it again.
My blood sugar leaped and the stuff in the can looked very different so I Googled and found this page.
Thanks. Its nice to know its not just me.
I would like to know the original ingredients!! This has no taste hardly and says it has rolled oats??
When did they start putting that in?? Groce
I just bought the new version (black can)with Hearty Chunks of Beef labeled Angus on the label. It had zero chunks of anything in it.
Watery soup. Pissed as *** I remember the original with the beefsteak chunks and a lump of fat with the red grease with all the flavor in it. That was the real deal .
The new soup should have a label on it. Not the real thing.07/28/2019
I know what your talking about it taste like grease with chili powder.im looking for another brand.i have a recipe I use a can of wolfchili in it and it tasted bad and I have loved this casserole for 50yrs my family said did you leave something out ? Just wasnโt good anymore. Wolf brand has messed it up big time!
now the chili I grew up eating is horrid! Thin and horrid
I was going to make my momโs frito pie that I grew up with which always included Wolf Brand Chili with the chunks and now youโve ruined it. I donโt mind paying more just bring back the old recipe. You really screwed up on this one.
Sad state of affairs. Itโs like spicy dog food now.
